Germany: Energy World Tour meets POLYCITY
The world wide travel route of Blandine Laurenty and Elodie Renaud included visits to more than 30 energy projects. The two young women started early this year in Paris with the goal of gathering information about innovative energy projects taking place around the world. Now, having completed their tour, they are developing lessons for the subject of "Environmental Education and Sustainable Development" for French schools. For seven months they travelled all of the 7 continents supported by the European Commission, McKinsey, the BMW Foundation and many other well-known partners, among these also European specialized media. The two learned of the POLYCITY project through internet research and in February, requested a visit. On short notice, Ursula Pietzsch organized a tour of Scharnhauser Park under the direction of Wolfgang Lotz, Jochen Fink and Frank Hettler.
